I was watching celebrity hunted on channel 4 and watched the previous seasons of the show and it got me thinking, livin wild UK members should apply for the next series. I could see it now, poor Peter Blexley would be distraught by the lack of progress the hunters would make.
How could you find 8 groups of people who can disappear int the wilderness for any amount of time while being comfortable and happy?
oh that would make great TV.

You wouldn't win cause winning won't make good tv. I'm sure the cameramen wear a tracker device.all they do is let you get close to the last day then boom. Cause if you sat in 1 spot in a massive forest how the fuck would the find you. All these types of shows are fixed. It's like bear grylls. He got caught staying in hotels whilst he was meant to be trying to survive in the wild.

hey thats a good point crazy fisherman. that never even crossed my mind, even frisking him down might not do much being as his camera could be used as a tracker. you are right too that it would make shitty tv if a load of us just set up camp and there was no chasing or suspense!
thank you for that reply, you got me thinking again if there could be a way.

The only one of these types of programmes I rate is Edd Stafford he dose make good TV in my opinion. Although I do like Ray Mears just as a factual presenter.

Yea I do very much enjoy Ed Stafford. I remember years ago watching him walk the amazon.what a show.
and as for ray Mears, I've one of his books packed in my camping bag, always nice to have it handy although i didn't like him when I first seen him on TV.
A lot of people don't like bear Grylls but I do, I seen an interview where he explained the staying in a hotel on one of his shoots and if I'm correct he did say in that episode that he wouldn't be staying the night, it was in Scotland. As fake as his show might be , the things he teaches in survival are things that would wok in real life and I've used some of the things he does in his shows but I suppose it's all personal preference
